This is a great adventure for your whole family or group! Rainbow Kayaks are a small family-owned operated Kayak company based on Kauai, Hawaii. They welcome you to discover for yourself these exotic places, tropical rivers, hidden valleys, dramatic waterfalls, and hard to find areas in the easygoing "Hawaiian style" that you’ll love about Kauai. Your Kauai kayak journey starts at the mouth of the only navigable river in Hawaii, and continues on through a sacred valley. This valley was once reserved only for the Ali’I (The Royal Family). You are assigned a "Local Guide" that will take you back to these ancient times! The guide gives informative narration and shares some of the rich Hawaiian history and the story of the legends of Wailua Valley. The tour continues to North Fork of the river where you will start your trekking through a tropical rainforest. lined with scenic waterways and cascades this sacred valley is great for a relaxing and refreshing dip and just minutes from a beautiful 120 foot waterfall. At the waterfall you can take in the beauty. This Kayak tour includes: Kayak and equipment, dry bags. We will also show you our instructional/safety video while being transferred "First Class" to the Wailua River.
