Whale Watch Cruise
See the majestic Humpback Whales! They migrate south from December through April and are often sighted off shore. Every year, from winter to early spring, hundreds of these leviathans, migrate about 3,600 miles from Alaska to mate, give birth and fast in Hawaii's tropical seas. They are up to 45 ft in length and weigh 30 tons,
The Noa Noa and the new Kaimaka are Red Sail Sports’ 50-ft catamarans. They are ultra stable. Their sleek design enables sailing speeds of up to 12 knots or 15 miles per hour. With a 50 ft mast and 870 square ft of sail, the catamarans are a spectacular sight on the horizon. They feature plenty of seating, sunning nets, a stocked bar, and two marine restrooms.
We recommend casual footwear. Guests will have to wade in ankle deep water and shoes must be removed when boarding the catamarans.
Tour time varies throughout whale watch season. Transportation is included for Waikoloa Location only for most Waikoloa Beach and Kohala Coast Hotels.
