Windward Coast and Waterfalls
Follow the trade winds as you ride along the Hamakua Coast. We make several stops along the way for short walks to waterfalls and coastal areas. The old scenic roads take you toward the largest valley on the Island of Hawaii, Waipi’o Valley, along towering cliffs and rainforest streams.
Walk around the heritage town of Honoka’a with it's charming old-style storefronts. (Don't miss the great ice cream and coffee shop). The next stop is Laupahoehoe Point with its beautiful shoreline, Waikaumalo Park with its tropical plants, scenic stream and several spectacular waterfalls, one of which has an amazing botanical garden.
Enjoy a deli style picnic lunch at one of these scenic areas. Your experienced guide will provide you with fascinating information about the cultural heritage of these amazing places.
