Join Captain Andy for a Na Pali Sunset Dinner Sail that presents a “dinner with a view!” From the South Star you will see the spectacular Kauai coastline from Haena to Milolii. The vista is gorgeous and includes the distant island of Ni’ihau, the “forbidden” island, and rainbows are commonly seen with their dazzling colors. Before heading north up the Na Pali Coast, Captain Andy’s Sunset Dinner Sail will instruct their guests on the amenities of the Southern Star. You will find that the Southern Star is a smooth sailing vessel that offers a relaxing downwind cruise. As we depart Port Allen, depending on the weather conditions, we will sail west, and then north, upwind on the Na Pali coast. Regularly, the Hawaiian trade winds blow from the East, which is perfect for a downwind sail once the turnaround point is reached. The massive mainsail and jib will be raised once the Southern Star crew powers down the twin diesel engines. This will position the Southern Star to provide a peaceful and quiet downwind sail while you enjoy fine dining.
